Haskap Berry Scones

Can you say easy and delicious? These are perfect with your morning coffee or tuck them into your kids lunches.
- 2 cups of white flour
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup of diced margarine or butter
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of haskap berries
- side of sugar to sprinkle on top
Instructions:
- Combine and mix the dry ingredients, flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Slice in the diced margarine.
- Mix together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract; add this blend to the dry ingredients and mix up till you have a nice dough.
- Fold in the haskap berries.
- Line a low pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter.
- Scoop the scone dough into to palm sized amounts onto the pan.
- Sprinkle the tops with sugar.
- Cook in a pre heated 400F oven for 20-25 mins.
